Amphibian
A part of E-husk Writes poetry collection
Limbs splayed reaching to the sky, cavity agape pouring his heart out to us. And his intestines, along with the lungs. The intestines go here. The lungs go there. The heart sat ever so snuggly between. They learn it all in pairs. Around fifteen Bullfrogs a room. Could not the same be learned from viewing this immortalised dissection? But the board demands the touch. A feel of flesh, the way it’s always been.
